VASERlipo® is a precision body contouring procedure that selectively removes unwanted body fat. An alternative to the harsh techniques of traditional liposuction, VASERlipo uses state-of-the-art ultrasound technology designed to gently reshape the body.
VASERlipo has been safely used in clinical study and on patients around the world. Side effects from the liposuction procedure may include, but are not limited to, temporary swelling, bruising, soreness, numbness (in and around the treated areas), bleeding, scarring, skin contour irregularities and indurations. Potential risks from the ultrasound energy may include burns. As with all surgical lipoplasty procedures, there is risk involved. Potential risks and complications may include, but are not limited to, infection, embolism, visceral perforation, seroma, nerve compression, skin necrosis, and fluid imbalance. The procedure requires anesthesia, which involves its own risks and the possibility of complications, toxicity, injury and even death.
