The VASERlipo Difference

WHY CHOOSE VASERlipo?

VASERlipo gently and effectively eliminates fat for a smooth, naturally beautiful look.

VASERlipo® is the customizable body sculptor that eliminates fat and smoothes the skin’s surface, helping you look and feel your best. This minimally-invasive liposuction procedure uses ultrasound waves to selectively break up small or large areas of fat while the surrounding tissues are left intact.

How VASERlipo compares to other procedures

Tens of thousands of patients have chosen to undergo a VASERlipo body contouring procedure. When you compare VASERlipo to other procedures, it’s easy to see why.

How Treatments Compare

How It Works Pros Cons

Laser-Assisted Liposuction/Laser Lipolysis

Laser-assisted liposuction uses thermal energy to destroy fat cells and seal off surrounding vessels. The tissue is then removed with a traditional liposuction tube. Destroys fat by heating the tissue. Typically treats only small pockets of fat. Can cause thermal damage to important tissues. Fat cannot be used for fat transfer procedures. Laser liposuction may only produce minimal benefits over traditional liposuction1.

How It Works Pros Cons

Traditional Liposuction (Suction-Assisted Liposuction)

Traditional liposuction is a method in which the surgeon inserts a suction probe through a small incision, pushing and pulling through the fat layer to break up the fat tissue. A suction pump is then used to draw the fatty tissue out of the body. Most common form of liposuction performed. Conventional liposuction tends to have greater blood loss than VASERlipo2.  Tissues that are fibrous (love handles, bra rolls, male patients) are difficult to obtain good results with conventional liposuction.

How It Works Pros Cons

Power-Assisted Liposuction

Similar to suction-assisted liposuction, power-assisted liposuction uses a specialized tube and mechanized movements to help break up the fat tissue. Fastest form of liposuction. Power-assisted liposuction can produce contour irregularities and lumpy-bumpy outcomes because it may be difficult for the surgeon to control the device.

Unleash Your Inner Six-Pack

Taking VASERlipo to another level, cutting-edge physicians created an advanced sculpting technique, VASER Hi Def®, to remove fat around muscle groups, making muscles look more refined.
